नर-नारायण (Nar-Narayan Avatar) :-
The twin-brother incarnation of Lord Vishnu on Earth to preserve the Dharma, Righteousness; the human soul Nara is the eternal companion of Divine Narayana. Nara-Narayana performs several penances at the holy spot of Badrinath. The two inseparable sages took avatar on earth for the welfare of humankind. Arjuna and Krishna (from Mahabharata), are referred reborn as Nara-Narayana.
