Welcome to Prem Mandir
Prem Mandir (meaning Temple of Divine Love) is a Hindu temple in Vrindavan, in  Mathura city of India. Spread over 55 acres of land, Prem Mandir in Vrindavan is not just a temple but an enchanting piece of architecture, admired by visitors from all across the world.

It is the most-frequently visited religious site for couples, young, old and peple of all ages, who come here to get inspired by the eternal love of the ones who are perhaps the greatest examples of love and devotion in Indian mythology. This Temple is maintained by Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat, an international non-profit, educational, spiritual, charitable trust.
When and who constructed this temple?
The foundation stone was laid on 14 January 2001 by Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj in the presence of thousand devotees. Inauguration ceremony took place from 15 February to 17 February 2012. It took approximately 1000 artists about 12 years to build the temple complex. The cost of constructing this temple was 150 crore rupees. ($23 million)
About the Main Temple
Constructed entirely of Italian marble, The total dimensions of the temple including its flag is 125 ft. high, 190 ft. long and the 128 ft. wide. The thickness of the walls of the garbha-griha is 8 ft to bear the weight of huge shikhar, swarna Kalash and the Flag.
The presiding deity of this temple are Shri Radha Govind (Radha Krishna) on first floor and Shri Sita Ram on second floor.

 It is the sister temple of Bhakti Mandir which was opened in 2005 and another sister temple which is known as Kirti Mandir, Barsana opened in 2019.
Beauty Of temple complex
Embedded with beautiful gardens and landscapes along with beautifully carved portrait on the exteriors of this temple makes it one of the most amazing places to visit in India.
A circumambulation route has been constructed on the mandir prangan, enabling visitors to view the 84 panels, carved on the outer walls of the temple, beautifully depicting the pastimes of Shri Radha Krishna.  Inside the temple is a specially constructed platform that allows the visitors to enjoy a grand view of 48 panels that exhibits the life of Lord Krishna. Other than this, numerous portraits of Krishna Leela, or the miracles of Lord Krishna, can also be found inside the temple. Surrounding the main temple are the beautiful gardens and fountains with various statues of Lord Krishna and his devotees, depicting the four leelas of Shri Krishna - Jhulan leela, Govardhan leela, Raas leela and Kaliya Naag leela.
Next to Main temple, There is a 73,000 square feet, pillar-less, dome shaped satsang hall that can accommodate 25,000 people at a time for prayers and assemblies. There is also a restaurant to eat and a shop to buy beautiful artifacts & idols of Lord krishna.

At night, The lighting of the temple complements to its  beautiful architecture and is one of the most interesting attractions of this religious site.  There is also an astounding music fountain, where a pleasing sound and light show takes place in the evening.  The coloured water twists and twirls to music of the kirtans and bhajans of Radhe Krishna being played in the temple complex, creates a delightful audio-visual for the visitors.

How to Reach
This temple complex is situated on the outskirts of Vrindavan.  Vrindavan is well connected via road to Haridwar, Agra, Jaipur,Kolkata and other key cities of India. It would take about three and half hours to reach Vrindavan by taxi.
Nearest Railway Junction is Mathura Jn, located 14 kms away from Vrindavan.  Taxis, buses and sharing auto-rickshaws are readily available from Mathura to Vrindavan. There is also a local suburban trains between Mathura to Vrindavan.
Kheria Airport of Agra is the nearest domestic airport at a distance of 53 km.  Indira Gandhi International Airport of Delhi, located 150 kms away, is the nearest International airport
